This is a simple plastic device that allows the connection of up to three cigarette lighter devices and one usb device to be connected to a single 12V cigarette lighter/power socket.

Construction seems plasticy and 'on the cheap side' although in use it does look quite smart. There is a decent length wire to plug into the socket to allow the unit to be passed around the car as needed.

The connecting wire is quite thin and hence unlikely to handle very large current drains, like wise the plug is quite thin plastic so strikes me as low load use only.

The usb socket is only 500ma so wont do a lot and it's not shielded so, if used with a radio transmitter (to transmit sound from phone to stereo), you will get a huge wining sound if the phone is charging too. This is something that's not unique to this device but is only present in lower end /cheaper products.

Testing with different devices and all seems to be good, though using a car hoover though it did blow the fuse. On a recent journey we plugged a powered cool box into it which caused the plug to melt and smoke a lot. So, stick to low current devices and this will work like a charm, ask to much and you'll be needed to buy a more expensive one.

This device does exactly what I bought it for. I can now use my sat nav and speed camera locator at the same time as charging up my phone. Brilliant!

Seems to work but occasionally have to twist the connector of the item I have plugged in to re-make the connection.

Bought this for incar DVD/DS use - while in use with 2 DVD players, my daughter (age 6) plugged her DS charger into it fusing it totally. As it is a sealed unit it couldn't be repaired. It went in the bin!
