this game is rather alot different to the first hamsterz, the graphics are soooooooo realistic and absolutly gorgous! the only thing that hasnt changed about this game is the simpleness of it, which i love!!! theres a little shop where you can cages, acsessories and toy for the cage, food, water, bedding its alot like owning your own hamster because you have to buy all the aquptment you need, even the hamsters, and i sould know, i'v had three! the stars that you ern by stroking, feeding, watering(filling up the water bottel) ect. exual money, which you can also spend on buying new hamsters out of a vriaty of breeds and a really, really wide variaty of coat colours, the syrians(breed of hamster) are my fave, in real life too! syrians come in more colours than the roboroviski and dwarf, although the campbells come in alot of colours aswell. the more you visit the shop the more new stock will arive. you also get to talk to the owner/manager of the shop and two of the staff, the more you talk to them the better you get to know them, and who knows what happends next LOL! this game is rather layed back like the first hamsterz which is a nice brake from the challenging and 'i need to do this, that and the other' kind of games.
i love this game for its innocence and simplicity and i hope you will too!!!!
i hope i have helped in eny way to you

I bought the hamsters ds along time ago so i decided to get hamsters 2 ds aswell. I love it! ok the lowdown! You can have up to 12 hamsters,
theres loads of breeds so dont rush and get as many as you can as they keep bringing new stock and breeds of hamsters to the shop! there are lots of different cages and bottles and accessorys. you meet lots of new people and meet their hamster. and if your hamsters have a baby you can keep it! Its really good if you want a pet of youre own aswell.
hope you like it!
Hamster! It's even better because they can have their own babies which most
animal games don't. BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has to be one of my top ranking games. I had a hamster when I was younger. So coming across this game was like finding a diamond.
You start off with one Hamster in a basic cage. The more you make it happy, the more Stars* you earn. These Star* Points can then be traded for more advanced stuff to make your lovable critter happy.
So far I own 2 Hamsters, a Golden-haired one and a Dwarf one. They are adorable and both female. I did try getting a male Golden-haired one but it wasn't able to find the water bottle- no matter where I put it. So I gave it to the Care Team in the game.
I have found this simulation to be very realistic. The behaviour patterns of the Hamsters can be monitored to find the best time to stroke your cuggable friends. I learned that Dwarf Hamsters favour biscuit treats, whereas Golden-haired ones favour seeds. I suspect each game Hamster has a different profile with distinct tastes and likes.
By rearranging the wheel and other items I made my two friends happy.
One thing I would mention is that Ann's pet (The Games construct character) is a little nasty to your own pet. So beware, or they may have a fight. One can pre-empt these problems by having your own pet leave before Ann's pet gets irratable. That way your pet can adventure and have fun safely. So keep an eye on it during excursions. But thats all A-Typical of hamster behaviour when a male is interacting with another.
It is a very low key game, meaning that you don't have to play it intensively. You can take breaks whenever you want. Be sure to save regularly.
You may want to watch what they eat. I weighed my Goldenhaired one and it was 13 pounds!
Overall alot of fun! Plus being a game, you can't do any wrong!
