A well presented well-researched history of all the U Boats which appeared off / sailed to South America.
Lucid, well written 100% factual a decent history.
What you will not get here is speculation of "black ops", a fantasy of Hitler coming ashore with millions of $ worth of Gold to start the New 4th Reich - it is simply not this kind of book, this is a piece of naval history which is worth buying and reading.
If you are into the view that Hitler escaped from Berlin and went to South America by a U Boat as in "Project Grey Wolf" Gerard Williams) entertaining as that may be or if you are looking for proof that there was some fantastic base in the Southern Icecaps like Harry Cooper of "Shark Hunters" will sell you this is not for you, this author has written a book which is factually based, it will tell you what U Boats did not carry Hitler and why it could not have happened.
An excellent book.

A captivating story of German submarines that fled to Argentina on the eve of the Third Reich’s capitulation, unwilling to surrender to the Allies. The authors of the book discovered numerous unpublished documents in England, Argentina, Germany and the USA. They debunk myths and expose lies concerning the escapes of the German Nazis and the transportation of large amounts of treasure, mainly gold, as well as documentation of the most valuable military projects of the German Reich, which were supposed to turn the tide of the war. The book uses documents from interrogations of the U-Boot commanders who were sent to a special POW camp near Washington for prisoners of exceptional importance.
