I remember this well from Authonomy (The Harper Collins site). Not only is it a very entertaining read but the author was very generous with his advice and guidance to all newcomers. 'Tybalt and Theo is a time travelling lark' the synopsis itself is perfect and tells you exactly what to expect and Keef Williamson does not disappoint. Highly recommended for all ages and situations.

Tybalt and Theo is a mixture of Tom Holt and Terry Pratchett with unfortunately a bit of the first series of Blackadder thrown in. It is an amusing take on contemporary times but it is the sections set early 1600s that are least effective, especially the plotting and King's proposed marriage.

All together a good read if a bit patchy.

A cracking read: anyone who likes Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Monty Python etc. would enjoy this book; it has that kind of humour. It's educational too with some history thrown in and even a succinct lesson in derivative trading (which I have promptly forgotten). Did you know that if your phone runs out of charge, you can power it with fruit?
I couldn't help noticing that the book could easily be turned into a film script so if you're some bloke from Handmade Films or the like, give it a go!

A more formal review:
It has all the ingredients of a good book: Words, sentences, paragraphs and even includes punctuation in places.
Profanity count: Not available yet, see a future review in the Daily Reactionary.
