Synopsis

Emmy® winner Jon Cryer stars alongside the multitalented Ashton Kutcher in the Emmy®-nominated Two and a Half Men as the hit comedy series returns for its 11th season. Another year of bachelorhood brought many new adventures for roommates Walden Schmidt (Kutcher) and Alan Harper (Cryer), living in the Malibu beach house now owned by Walden, an Internet billionaire. After his girlfriend turned down his marriage proposal, Walden was thrown back into the dating world in a serious way. He even got invited to a threesome with Alan and his girlfriend, Lindsey (guest star Courtney Thorne-Smith), and created a false identity to find a girl who wasn't after his money. The guys may have thought things were going to slow down once Alan's son, Jake, got transferred by the Army to Japan, but they're about to be proven wrong when Alan's niece (Amber Tamblyn), who shares more than a few characteristics with her father, shows up at the beach house.

This is a show that really still shouldnt work since charlie left, and even more so that jakes gone too, but IMO the series just gets better and better! this is proberly one of the funniest seasons too!
ive read alot of the reviews and it seems not everyone shares my view!
I loved the charlie shows obvioulsy but i think that its better with Aston kutcher! and hes kept the show going, and stoped it going stale, jakes gone, and jennys come in, not a lover of the character but shes funny and has many charlie isms, can tell shes his daughter, from the drinking , the womanising, and the humor, agree alan is anoying, but its hilarious the way he and walden are always refered as the gay couple, even when its just them, alan really has become alot camper this season, and as the season goes on were are treated to barry! another hilarious character who really works well with walden, funny how everyone thought he was jake when he was at waldens house, the show is funnier than ever! walden cracks me up always! barry is hilarious, theres plenty of inside humor too, with loads of refrences to real life stuff, which works very well, like charlie would of had to of been on crack to give all this up, how walden would love to bang mila kunis, who then does show up! excellent stuff.
i never expected much, but laughed so much, even alans alter ego jeff strongman provides much humor, great season, really looking forward to the next!
watch this without expectation, without comparing it to the past seasons, and im sure you'll find it as hilarious as I did

Amber Tamblyn's Jenny made a great entrance but started to get tiresome mid-way through the season, but Alan's alais (Jeff Strongman) made up for it....

say what you will about this show, but it still had some funny moments even in it's 11th season

For me, this series died the death when Charlie Sheen was obviously too old to chase young girls and fell in love with the most boring woman in a TV series, and Jake became too old to be cute. Add to that the removal of most of the funniest support characters and you have a recipe for indifference. I confess this DVD was borrowed from a relative because I thought buying my own would be a waste of money. I was right.

Why is this even called Two and a half men anymore? "The Billionaire The Lesbian & The Sponging Leech" would be more appropriate ! I do still enjoy this series, but cringe at the depths Alan Harper goes to live off the wealth of others and his new alias Jeff Strongman.

Had series 9,10,11, as a present and was very disappointed.Very little in the way of plot and seems to have been "gay'd-up" such a lot.Not funny anymore.Come back Charlie, all is forgiven.Oh well, back to earlier series again!

I really enjoy 2 and a half men and although this series isn't bad it just isn't really good either. I would say that this series as well as series 10 should be looked at as a 'spin off' rather than a continuation of the Charlie, alan and jake years, and as a 'spin off' it is ok to watch. I don't think amber tamblyn as charlies daughter brings as much to the party as jake did, think all she is there to do is make as many lesbian innuendos as possible in every episode. Alan to me always has been the best thing about these shows and even though his character has changed totally he still is dead funny. I have heard that the next series is the last one and it is probably a good thing it is, ideas are running out. It would be nice to see returns of jake and rose to name just a couple in the last series

If you enjoyed seasons 1-10 then you won't enjoy this puerile rubbish. The introduction of Charlie's long-lost daughter just doesn't work and her dialogue is dreadful. Also the absence of Jake's character doesn't help matters. Not even guest appearances from Lynda Carter or Mila Kunis can save this dross. Avoid.

Not as fun as with previous seasons, but still worth watching. Good surprise : there is a mistake in the description, it is also dubbed in other languages (including French).
