Product description

From the Back Cover

Two men quarrel loudly in the clubhouse and one sues the other for slander. The end, everyone would imagine, of a very old friendship. Why then, as soon as the case is over and large damages paid, are the two again on the greens, laughing companionably as they play? There is, of course, as in all the other stories in this sparkling collection, a twist in 'The Loophole', to satisfy and delight because Jeffrey Archer plays the lines of his tales as skilfully as any fisherman his fish, to hook and tantalise the listener.

About the Author

Jeffrey Archer is Britain’s top-selling novelist. A former MP and Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party, he was made a Life Peer in 1992. He lives in London and Cambridge.
