Review

Based on the familiar, widely used nursery rhyme. It is beautifully illustrated with pages of children in their nightclothes. The illustrator has introduced different styles, colours and pattern to the nightwear, giving the reader lots of scope for language development. The children all have happy faces and can be viewed using appropriate signs and actions to demonstrate the rhyme. British Sign Language is used for each line of the nursery rhyme.

I think we have them all she loves the sign and sing book,even does the signing to the songs realy good books would recomend these to anyone,educational for adult as well as children and fun.

Easy introduction to baby signing (BSL). Just started signing with my 10 mth old and within less than a week she was already doing the twinkle sign. Works well with others in this (BSL) series

I bought this book because Twinkle Twinkle is one of my 5 month old daughter's favourite songs. She is just starting to communicate and we thought signing would help her. The book itself is very nice and well-laid out. Most of the signs are clear, although not all words have signs. Some of the signings were a little ambiguous, which is a shame because otherwise this book would be very good. Annie Kubler's signing illustrations are better in 'My First Signs'.

I believe it is important to teach toddlers how to sign when they are still trying to learn to talk. This helps to ward off frustrations in communication for them as well as for their carers! All of this set of Sign Singalong books is well done. Having signs for familiar songs really gets the attention of a little one and they start making the signs too!

Another 'signing' book bought inadvertently - but I am a Grandma! Bought for my eleven month old Grandson. Lovely illustrations for the nursery rhyme and he loves watching me do the actions as I read the rhyme. (I know it's called 'signing' now, but when my son was a baby we did 'actions' to nursery rhymes.) :o)

This was a nice book that allowed me to sing and sign this nursery rhyme. My son loves the song and now when ever he hears it he is able to sign along with the words!

Didn't do as much signing as we meant to with ur baby but he loved this, and it easily taught us all the signs for twinkle twinkle (which he can now do). Cute drawings as well& sturdy book.
