2017 seems to be the year of turning Christmas classics into Halloween books. It's interesting that Colin, a British writer, adapted "The Night Before Christmas," written by an American author, into a Halloween book. In the same year, "A Christmas Carol," written by another British writer named Charles Dickens (You may have heard of him.) was converted by an American author into "The Legend of Decimus Croome: A Halloween Carol."
Hopefully such publications will bump Halloween up a notch to where it belongs among the greatest of all holidays.
