About the Author

Voted ETO Best Erotic Author of 2014, and a proud member of The Brit Babes, K D Grace believes Freud was right. In the end, it really IS all about sex, well sex and love. And nobody’s happier about that than she is, otherwise, what would she write about?

When she’s not writing, K D is veg gardening. When she’s not gardening, she’s walking. She walks her stories, and she’s serious about it. She and her husband have walked Coast to Coast across England, along with several other long-distance routes. For her, inspiration is directly proportionate to how quickly she wears out a pair of walking boots. She also enjoys time at the gym, reading, watching the birds and anything that gets her outdoors. What she likes best, though, is writing a good tale.

Wow, just wow! This has to be the hottest book I've ever read in which the characters don't actually touch each other (although it is the only book I've read where the characters don't touch each other, but it was sooo freaking hot). Lex and Kelly are so sexy, the storyline was uniquely brilliant and so well written and had me hooked from the start. Whilst Lex's phobia is debilitating at times, the story has plenty of light hearted as well as angsty moments, it also has plot twists, an array of fabulous characters, a bitch, friendships, sex, vomit and love (all the ingredients needed for a truly great read. This is my first book by K D Grace though it certainly won't be the last, I'd absolutely recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

That was definitely the something different that I was looking for. Love this story and it took sexy to a whole new level!

You know with KD Grace to expect the unexpected and The Tutor definitely carries on in the same vein. From a gorgeous cover, which immediately attracted my attention, came a story like no other. Seeing that one of the characters in this book suffers from haphephobia, following a childhood trauma, I couldn't wait to experience just how the two main protagonists would work around this condition.

Kelly Blake is a writer and moonlights as a sex tutor. Having helped many people understand the complexities of sex and all that it entails, she finds herself drawn in to help sculptor, Alexander "Lex" Valentine, who finds himself unable to touch or be touched by anyone without being sick or passing out. At his PA's insistence, Lex agrees to meet with Kelly and although drawn to her, he struggles to see how she can help his condition, without making matters worse. Despite a hesitant start, Lex soon finds that there are other ways to be with Kelly without actually being with Kelly.

Their working relationship and tentative friendship initially struggles but a public grand gesture by Lex makes Kelly's future take a dramatic turn as she finds herself living with Lex in order to escape the paparazzi. With an unbreakable bond, the duo start to find ways of helping each other and to alleviate their mutual sexual tension. Lex starts to trust Kelly and in doing so finds himself able to get closer to her until he forces himself to make contact with her, albeit briefly, and before he's violently sick.

I really enjoyed the voyage of self-exploration that Lex and Kelly find themselves on.

Loved this book, a difficult condition written sensitively. The main characters were entertaining, moving and funny (the kitchen scene had me laughing out loud!) It highlighted the creative ways intimacy can be obtained when needed. Would definitely recommend it

To write an erotic romance about a hero who is haphephoic is quite a feat, and I have nothing but admiration for K. D. Grace for pulling it off. I adored the characters of Lex and Kelly and how they develop as the story progresses. I just wish the author had dug a little deeper with the sub-plot and character of their nemesis. That said, this is a sensuous and highly evocative read, which I highly recommend to readers who enjoy this genre.

I really don't know where to begin with The Tutor ... I just loved it.

Having experienced a traumatic event earlier in life Alexander Valentine is haphephobic - he cannot bear to touch or be touched by another. His PA urges him to seek out the help of Kelly Blake - a sex tutor.

This is such a sensual book - a very emotional love story, between Lex and Kelly. Even the supporting characters are a joy to behold!

KD's writing always drags you in and she knows just how to get you going. Her scenes of intimacy with actually touching the other person are a joy to read, however I really don't think I will be able to eat another can of tinned pears again without blushing at the memories!
