Whilst by no means a comprehensive travel guide on the scale of Lonely Planet et al, if you are planning a package holiday to Tunisia and want to know a bit about the resorts (Hammamet, PEK, Djerba etc.) and excursions therefrom (to Carthage, Dougga, the Sahara etc.), then this provides enough basics in a pocket sized format to both plan ahead and then wander around once you are there. If you'll be needing good maps or comprehensive listings of travel details, hotels etc., don't bother. It has basic maps, one line each about half a dozen hotels and restaurants in each major town, and no information on getting around at all - not aimed at the independent backpacker. But sufficient details of major sights to plan a few excursions. Note that at the time of writing I have yet to visit, so cannot vouch for accuracy. Don't just book it....

Considering this is a Thomas cook guide and it focuses on resorts that Thomas cook sell holidays for, I was expecting a big more information about each area, it's very slight and only a few pages on each place, doesn't really tell you enough to get excited about - ok as a quick guide and flick through but there are better ones on the market.
