About the Author
Ruth Oshikanlu, RN (Adult), RM, RSCPHN (Health Visiting), QN is a nurse, midwife and practising Health Visitor. She is also a life and business coach and single parent. She is the owner of Goal Mind Limited, and helps individuals and businesses improve their performance in life and at work. Ruth is also a Queen’s Nurse. “My personal vision is a world where every parent embraces and enjoys their role as parents despite its many challenges, meeting the needs of their child(ren) without sacrificing their needs. I believe that most people want to parent well regardless of the situation that they find themselves in. I also am of the opinion that every parent is an expert in their circumstances. My mission is to use my passion for empowering women to raise their babies and my proficiency in enabling them to find their solutions to enjoy being parents and succeed in parenting. With some insight into why babies act the way they do, I believe that every parent can tune in to their baby, find out what they need, meet them and enjoy parenting.”

I know I can trust everything written as it's from someone who has been through it all not only as a parent but also as a health professional working in one of the toughest parts of London.
Thank you for a wonderful book, Ruth.
This book enables you to connect with your unborn child through out your pregnancy, up to when your child can communicate with you...
It is so detailed and with such quality in content, it covers a lot of the questions you want to ask your midwife or doctor. Taking you on a step by step journey of what to expect as a new mum or expectant mum. Also comes with a journal which allows you to document your feelings, experiences and moments you want captured for future references.
My baby was just months old when I came across this book and It's been priceless to be able to refer to specific areas for instant help or answers at anytime of the day; I have found it so impactful.
Most of the baby books out there are written by experts with little or no parental experience.... But this book amazingly is by an expert midwife who is also a mum.
Thank you for sharing your experience to help others; It is definitely helping me.
