A very comprehensive explanation of everything connected with the moon and its influence on our lives. --Bernard Jarman, Executive Director of the Biodynamic Agricultural Association

Scientific evidence is increasingly demonstrating the effects of the moon on plant development. I have recently moved to a home with a vegetable patch and sizeable garden. Having not done much gardening in the past and feeling a bit daunted about the wheres and whens, I found this book to be extremely helpful and informative on many different levels. Not only does it provide explanations of the best times for planting, harvesting, etc according to the moon's cycle, it also includes many other tips and useful additional information - down to when's best for me to go to the hairdressers! I look forward to watching my garden bloom - 'in tune with the moon'.

I have just been given a copy of this book and found it to be excellent. Most similar books give no background to the technical reasoning for following the lunar cycle but just tell the reader to 'believe' and everything will grow perfectly. It never does and never can. At least 'In Tune with the Moon' explains why certain activities are better carried out at certain phases of the moon so that the reader can make a considered judgement of how the guidance can be used in their own garden and life.

I was very impressed with this extremely well written book giving details of not only the waxing and waining moon but other useful information, tips and advice on how I can not only grow my fruit and vegetables using the lunar cycle but also when to have my hair cut, start a detox. programme and even have surgery!

I am surprised at the impressive amount of practical information compiled in this new calendar, I just discovered that it is not new at all, but has been used in France for over 30 years. I have worked with several calendars over the last decade, but am absolutely thrilled with this one which translates all astronomical and astrological influences into a practical handbook for the whole year. I learnt not only when is the best time to plant, harvest, cut wood, brew beer or treat diseases but also when to cut hair, detox., have dental treatment and much, much more.
Highly recommendable!
