I was asked to review this book, and as the proceeds go to charity I was only too happy to buy the review copy. Well, I certainly got my monies worth. The amount of time and research the author has put in before writing the first word even, is impressive. For all the coffee drinkers out there, it is worth a look - you will be amazed at what that little bean is capable of - certainly gave me plenty of food for thought.
It is a very informative read; but put across by the author in a factual and non-patronising way. Well worth a read, I can't image that there is anything else like it out there, and I wish the author every success.

When I read this book I wasn't really expecting to learn so much about the risks of coffee consumption. One cup of coffee or one can of soda per day isn't going to hurt you. But if you drink 4-8 cups a day for years, yes, When I shared this with my husband we both knew this valuable information would make him quit. If your significant other drinks coffee, get this book.

After being an excessive tea drinker for years, then giving up on caffeine completely, I started drinking Coffee and knew this book would give me a hundred reasons to stop drinking Coffee. I was wrong. It gave me more than a hundred reasons.

I skimmed through some of this book as I’m not a pregnant woman, but found it to be incredibly well researched, well laid out and easy to read. Not only does it highlight the symptoms caused by over consumption of coffee, it gives you alternatives. I’m not sure why the history of Coffee is included, but I have to admit, it was interesting.
