A sexy, suspenseful psychological thriller, Truth exposes the hidden demons buried deep inside each and every one of us. Caleb falls madly in love with Jeremy who he's just met through a hook up website. The spark between the two lovers is evident from the beginning - but soon the line between blind faith and lies, blurs. Battling the demons of his past, Caleb tries unsuccessfully to conceal his secrets until, gradually, the darker personality can simply no longer be hidden. Tense, hot and always thrilling, Truth is gay cinema at its most exciting.

Well there is a big clue that things may have gone awry when the film starts by Caleb being interviewed in a prison by some sort of doctor. We get to find out about the highs and the lows of Caleb's life and the pieces of the jigsaw fall into place revealing more and more until the final dénouement.
This is a budget film, but it is still very well made and presented. The acting is all generally above average too with Sean Paul Lockhart doing a convincing portrayal of the misunderstood Caleb. Rob Moretti as Jeremy was a good piece of casting too. My only gripe is that it takes a while to warm up and the actual scene setting did seem a bit laboured. However, once it gets there you will forget the earlier feet dragging of the script. There is a bit of bedroom action but this is really all about the psychological element of the relationship and how sometimes honesty can be the best policy - recommended.
I suspect that many people considering buying this are primarily interested for the appeal of S.P.L., however, I would spend your money on a Brent Corrigan DVD rather than this.
All in all, good production, and good acting, but rather let down by a lack of script.
Suspenseful psychological thriller it is NOT. Very elementary psychology - border line psychotic Caleb with disturbing childhood (seriously crazy mother and no father figure) falls for plain looking older guy. When his love interest turns into a double crossing family man - seen it coming almost from the beginning - Sean Paul's character transforms into a sadistic maniac. Conclusion is, I'm afraid, not so thrilling except for the semi interesting rape scene.
I am giving it three stars just because of S.P.L.'s sexy, taut and thrilling body.
