Still shocking... sadly no longer surprising!!!

I purposefully stayed away from the media reports, news, social media for years because of how depressing & inadequate the resolve is for many of our global issues... then COVID19 hit the entire planet and left me perplexed as to the enforcement that followed... I had to step out of my peaceful existence and look for answers... I started researching everything I could related to what I was hearing & seeing about this current pandemic... of course it led to a wealth of alarming & shocking information... knowledge & insights... my God what a revelation... I always suspected deep corruption at government level but was overwhelmed at seeing how much and how blatant it had become... I give credit and gratitude to all those great people who have the courage of their conviction to speak up against the evil & atrocities happening in our world within the very institutions set-up to protect and keep us safe... that includes this brave women who dared to speak up and share with the world the extreme deceptive... careless... money-orientated... organisation-centred WHO... One day the planet will be rid of the cancerous evil contaminating it & return to the full beauty & glory it was created to be... by the very one WHO created it... YHWH!!!

Okay. Not that eye opening.

Not sure how eye opening this documentary is.
All organisations are funded (people, companies or government) and those that fund either have or will be accused of having an agenda.
Maybe I am being naive but I would give the benefit of doubt that people who work for agencies like WHO come into it with an altruistic mind set.
We should always question those in power, but the film maker seemed to suggest that an adviser could only do this if they had had no links to anyone. Well how does a researcher get funded?
Frustrating sinister music and too much emotional filming of kids in a playground.
Interesting that the documentary suggests H1N1 was over hyped. Easy to say in retrospect. Now WHO accused of both under and over hyping Covid. Without WHO do we listen to Trump or Bolsanaro??

Totally corrupt organisation - always too late in their response - always reactive rather than proactive and they are guided by the pharmaceutical and corporates who fund them - economy is more important to them than human health and welfare and that is born out by their handling of the Covid-19 issue. Disgraceful

Thank you very much for the documentary! I was shocked by the sociopathic or narcist officials! Oh yes it hurt to hear how they dance around or try to suppress valid questions and critisms! But the truth is better than anything! Every human-being on earth must watch this and see how WHO is just another cover-up organisation that serves for the industry complexes! Shame on you WHO!

Unlike the usual claim- "WHO is corrupt, etc" - this documentary exposes the fragility of this institution and the role of lobbying inside their programs. It seems to me that any institution that needs to "beg for private money" is clearly more vulnerable to corruption, but is this the source of the problem? This only becomes clear around the end of the documentary. A part2 would be great - to expose and investigate those behind the money before another disaster can happen. It creeps me out to know that Bill Gates is the SECOND BIGGEST DONOR to this institute. What kind of work they do together in reality? (Because, in fact, the number of illness - like Zika, or Cov-19 - and the response to disasters - like those river contaminations in Brazil last year - is actually increasing. Therefore, even the 'science' behind WHO isn't working, correct?).

A great courageous achievement. Five Stars.

Profit is the Puppeteer

Extremely important documentary that was made with fearlessness and passion. The ending was perfect and it is clear that whoever funds the WHO, dictates the narrative and it is clear that much goes on to protect the profits of big pharma (amongst others), sometimes at the detriment of public health. Not to say that the WHO is completely corrupt, but it is certainly not the magnanimous entity most are lead to believe. It would appear that the companies that fund WHO expect to see a return on their investment one way or another.

The World Health Organization (WHO) was founded with the aim of building a healthier future for people all over the world. Whether it’s the effects of smoking, the Swine flu pandemic or a nuclear disaster, the WHO is the body we rely on to advise on and resolve a public health crisis. But can it be trusted? TrustWho documents filmmaker Lilian Franck’s quest to discover what lies behind the altruistic façade of the world’s largest public health body. What she uncovers is an alarming picture of corruption and opacity. This powerful investigative doc shines a light on how industry lobbies have infiltrated the WHO and asks whether the organisation can be trusted to keep the public healthy.
