One of the most moving accounts of child abuse that I've read (Natasha Harding THE SUN)

UPDATE - Just this week-end (11 January 2015) it is reported in the National Press that the goings on at Kendal House are to be investigated. At last the abused are having their voices heard.
"A little girl in and out of care from an early age because of her mothers health and fathers drinking. Just as she believed that her life might improve she was suddenly taken to Kendall House. And nothing she had endured would have prepared her for what was to follow in the years ahead. A cruel abusive regime. Isolated, Alone, A little girl terribly violated... but she survived. To be The Mother, Author and Campaigner she is today. This is her story. Sadly for life but perfect for this review. I was at one with this book. It made perfect sense to me. A must read. But be prepared."
Teresa Cooper is a special lady and one to be supported. Whether you like the book or not please always bare in mind this is a true story with a real genuine person at the end of it. Having said that I like other reviewers here were appreciative of this book. And I have in what I do had to review a few Books and stories. And its at the top deserving as the others.Shes not alone in what she has done, is doing and has been through... but that doesnt make her any less special. x
