I loved reading this in Cam's POV - he is bloody awesome. However if you have not read book 1 it will take a while to get into the story, you really do need Avery's story. Kudos to J Lynn for not just repeating book 1, but actually giving us this from Cam's POV. I have been left so disappointed and hacked off with other male POV books that have not been that, instead in places just a copy and paste of initial book. That is NOT the case with TIM. Yes, on the odd occasion there will be a bit of repetition from book one, but as this is the same story but in his POV that is obviously going to happen. I understand this which is why I am giving this 5 stars cuz I bloody loved it.
I didn't like that Cam calls Avery 'sweetheart' publicly and I don't like that he calls her 'Shortcake' in private, after Strawberry Shortcake. That's just insulting, and again, doesn't feel natural for Cam to say this in my opinion.
All in all I loved it though. Another fantastic read from writing powerhouse JLA.

Seeing Avery from Cam's POV, didn't put her in a good light, but we already knew her story, it was refreshing getting the story from a different angle.
We get more interaction with Jase and Ollie, which is really nice, we get the home visits. I didn't remember it taking Avery so long to tell her story in Wait for me, but we knew way before Cam.
Eagerly waiting on Jase's story.
Before, my heart broke multiple times for Avery, even when she was responsible for the pain she was currently experiencing. This time round my heart broke more than once for Cam... even though I knew how the book was going to turn out. I loved being inside Cam's head, seeing Avery from his POV because Avery never see's herself the way others do. As much as I liked Cam it was nice seeing his inner frustrations with Avery, to realise that while he seems like this perfect guy who is always there, that he IS frustrated by Avery's treatment of him at times.
I originally read Wait for you in April 2013 so the story wasn't fresh in my mind, which meant it felt like a completely new story, it might not feel that way if you are reading them back to back.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for the eARC.
