We had one incident (child decided it could ride the trunki down the boarding ramp to the plane, and fell off), but other than that I have nothing but praise for these little things. We got one after seeing another family with them last year and thinking what a good idea they are.
Oh, and its a perfectly usable carry on suitcase as well - its not *too* heavy (empty) - I should point out I haven't had the strap issues others have reported, but even if it does go now, I can replace the plastic clip with some sort of carabiner clip (the ability to sling on your back at moments where it cannot be ridden is also invaluable)
