this album is fantastic....yes ok the ghost of machine head hangs heavy over the riffs but hey it works so well....and its alot better than what machine head were producing at the time this came out!!!!
big riffs...strong powerful vocals spitting and roaring twisted lyrics at you and then you add the industrial edge to it all and you are wrapped up in it all and not let out until the album is finished.
burton c bell form fear factory shows up on a couple of songs and shouts a bit but thats about it...the real thing to admire here are the riffs...they are huge and show an insane amount of variety from almost classic metal through to thrash and a little nu metally at times.
and as taff says this is the sound of northern england 2000 AD!!!!

I cant give this album enough credit. Since buying it it has rarely left my CD player. Trying to name the best song would be impossible. Figure of 8 starts it of with huge slabs of noise, moving through to the apocalyptic noise of G.od On D.rugs and I challenge anyone to dislike This is the News. The album is also slowed down perfectly with the haunting Heal the Separation. Kill 2 This manage to perfectly mix huge heavy metal sounds with dance sounds and samples. Easily the best album of the year. They will destroy the likes of Slipknot and Limp Bizkit.

since I got this album, it has switched my listening modes from old heavy, eg Sabbath etc, to K2This other albums, Machine head etc. The band are a modern Zeppelin in their approach. Sometimes a little bluesey but always rip your stomach out heavy. Every song approaches from a new perspective whilst maintaining Kill II This' signature sound. I cannot recommend this album enough. The best heavy band from UK or US in years.
