5.0 out of 5 stars A Handy Guide with a Large Poster 23 Feb. 2015
By J. Faurot - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is a 20- page pamphlet inside a folder where the author Brian Jacques describes the mice in his Redwall series by category "Healers and Herbalists," "Scholars and Schemers," "Mighty Warriors,"and so on. He also describes habitats as well as individual heroes and heroines. The final pages include a quiz and answers. In addition there is a folded, large format color poster which includes a number of the most notable mice from his stories. A handy tool for a classroom or library where the Redwall books were being studied or an individual child/adult fan of the series. It packs a rather large amount of material organized into a simple, clear format. If you've read these books, you know it can be difficult to keep all of the many characters straight in your mind. This is just a quick reference guide of the mice.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money 25 Sept. 2004
By Avid Reader - Published on Amazon.com

I neglected to read the description closely - THIS IS NOT A BOOK. It's more like an extremely overpriced pamphlet. Do not waste your time or money on this series. I ordered is Aug. 7, got it on 9/9. Extremely disappointed. I give it 1 star because there is no lwer rating to chose from.
