I was a naughty girl and bought these else where for half price on sale.
Simply put they're worth the full price.

I tested them out first on my Kindle and was delighted! The detail is remarkable.
They are quite bright and yet bassy on the kindle and amazing quality considering the music is compressed.
I felt that the bass was a bit "baggy" but I am nit picking.

In spite of them being advertised as being for the kindle, they are with out doubt MUCH better plugged directly into my CD player ( a Marantz CD6004)

The bass immediately loses its " baggyness". It's as if the head phones have pulled in their stomach. Much tighter.

The sound is full and mellow, thanks to the wooden housing; without losing any detail.

I'm delighted with mine and already considering buying another pair for a loved one.

They handle any music you throw at them too

Highly recommended!

Looks and feels really well made but not as compact as I had hoped. Love the fact that the cable is completely removable, so you can use it as an auxiliary lead. The removable jack head is a nice touch too!

These Tribeca Studio headphones were purchased with an Amazon Local voucher, giving 50% off. At £34.99 these cans represent excellent value.

The use of wood behind the speakers does enhance both the bass response, resonance and detail - it is something more than a marketing usp. The frequency response across the whole range is very good, but these headphones are not exceptionally `bright' - the top end is detailed but not shrill. They are also very comfortable - you hardly know you have them on, and the self-adjusting headband seems to work well. However, the construction of headband is not hugely robust, and I would not use these as travel headphones. That said, in a `home' environment (that is, in the absence of traffic noise), these headphones sound superb.

My only reservation with these cans is the price. Forgetting the RRP, these are presently offered by Amazon just shy of seventy quid. At that price, I would probably be looking for a pair of Sennheiser's for `hi-fi' listening. If you can find an Amazon Local discount, or bundled with a Kindle, then these are worth a look.

Ideal for indoors. Not for wondering around outdoors. Cuts out all outside sounds. Excellent service, as usual. Top quality sound.
