These superb trekking poles are made from lightweight 6061 aluminium alloy and weigh just 258g per pole. They feature comfortable, EVA foam handles and easily adjustable padded wrist straps.
With three sections, they can be fully extended from 65 to 135cm, to suit your height and the gradient. This also means they telescope neatly away when not in use.
There's an extra anti-shock facility, which can be turned on or off. This is particularly useful when descending steep hills, or to save elbow strain.
They have removable mud baskets, which can be attached near the base of the pole and are designed to prevent sinkage in soft ground or snow. At the end of each pole there are sturdy, hard tungsten alloy trekking tips for mountain use, and removable rubber ferrules for easy ground.

They are a fraction of the price of very similar poles sold in retail shops.
The shock absorption feature is very effective and gives added comfort to long hikes
If you are looking for hiking poles, you could do a lot worse than these little beauts.
Delivery time was excellent too.
And thanks to them.
The soft moulded handles are very comfortable to hold and my wife & I found the slightly springy 'shock system' did reduce impact on the wrist & arm. We didn't use the wrist straps but they have their uses.
The ferules are quite robust and a week in the lake district did little to wear them.
Adjustment is via a twist and lock system that takes a bit of getting used to. Grasp the pole & twist one way until it loosens, adjust to desired height & then twist back in the opposite direction to lock. The directions are marked upon the pole & the there are two segments that are adjustable.
As soon as I got these out of the box my darling daughter grabbed one and immediately extended it beyond the marking that says 'do not extend beyond here'. I could not for the life of me get the over extended section back into place so I e-mailed Trekrite. I was e-mailed back within a couple of hours & told that it would be best for me to give them a call & was given a name & number to ring. I did so and a very helpful gentleman talked me through the process which was a bit complicated so I was grateful for the help.
The speed and courtesy of the companies response was very impressive. It was all sorted in under 3 hours and the pole now works perfectly.
While out and about in the lakes we noticed 2 distinct groups of walker. Those who had shelled out a small fortune in walking gear and those who had gone for reasonably priced but solid names like trek rite, Karrimor & Regatta.Read more ›

Good Value for occasional use (which is what I use them for) They seem well made, and haven't broken so far!Published 2 days ago by Stephen B.
Brililiant value for money. I mainly use them for propping up my tarp but are handy for testing depths of streams and bogs. Bang on bit of kit.Published 7 days ago by Melvin
Really decent quality for the price paid. I used it all through my 5 day hike on the Machu Picchu trail and it was still in pretty good condition at the end. Read morePublished 11 days ago by Lynda C
Broken after one use out hillwalking. Really disappointed. They are light weight but not a whole lot of use when they break so easily.Published 24 days ago by Ailsa Gemmell
Great value for money. Not used them yet so cannot comment on durability. Foam type handle is what I was hoping for. Read morePublished 26 days ago by Olderbutwiser
