I love this book! Everything I have tried has been great!!! One warning, using too many recipes a week will lead to eating too much, lol. Having lived in England now for 15 years, I long for so many things from home. I have worked hard trying out different recipes but don't always get a good result. Now I go to A Treasury of Top Secret Recipes and say, "What do I want to make today?" This book is worth every penny I spent on it!

I wish I had known about this book when I first started to build my Todd Wilbur collection...I now have doubles of 1 of the books. This is is actually 3 books in one, Top Secret Recipes, Even More Top Secret Recipes & Top Secret Restaurant Recipes. If you can find a copy, it's a handy resource and an economical way to start building your library if you are a fan of Todd Wilbur's recipes.

I made the big mac that is in the book and I have to say, it came out better than I've tasted at McDonald's. The only difference here is the book is an older print, so for secret sauce he list 1000 island dressing. Although this might satisfy some people it won't bring you close to the taste of what the original is like. I went to the page ([...]) & watched his video of making a big mac in which he makes the secret sauce from half cup mayo, and a teaspoon each of Sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, french dressing, a lil sugar, salt, pepper & minced onion. This burger not only eclipsed the original, but I wasn't left with the need to dash to the bathroom an hour or so after I ate it. This is mainly cause I used all fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this rather hard to find edition of this book. Pick up up today!!

This book deserves a 5 star for the Olive Garden Salad Dressing alone!
That was the first recipe I tried and upon completing it I smelled it and thought, "My goodness, that smells just like Olive Garden salad dressing!" but then I tried it and was blown away! It tasted exactly the same. I took it to work the next day and showed it to everyone and all my friends and coworkers were similarily amazed. I have been referring people to this book since and often people will ask if a certain recipe is in the book and more often than not it is!
The recipes in this book are fun and often exact copies of what you recall from eating the original!
For me as a novice and learning cook this book is an excellent reference for wowing your guests and friends!
Its fun to make this stuff and the recipes are pretty easy! I say buy it you won't regret it.

A Really enjoyable book - but I substitute a lot of things for lower calorie options. Its restaurant food - its fattening! There were some real winners like Rainforest Café "Scarlet Macaw" pita is a GREAT after holiday dish that uses up turkey, stuffing and cranberries! I also liked the Mexican dishes and the ones from the restaurant Koo Koo Roo (which I have never heard of but turned out great). This is a combined edition of Todd Wilburs first three books - I also have his treasury two which is the second three. The second is great as it has low cal recipes. - You cant go wrong with these they are so low priced. One of those books I can always find something fairly quick to make out of.

Although this book undermines my New Year's resolution for healthy eating, it's great fun, easy to follow and the recipes are (mostly) pretty close to the original fast foods in taste. My family is grown and gone, but this would have been a trip if I'd had it when my children were young! I think I'd have heard less whining for chain restaurant junk, had better control over quality of ingredients, and could have gotten my children more interested in cooking: "You wanna' go to McDonald's? Let's make our own Big Macs!" I would definitely buy more of Wilbur's cookbooks! We're trying bourbon salmon tonight (which, at least, is moderately healthy).
