This is a beautifully written book and the sexual scenes were well written as well, not too overt which is more to my particular taste, I took half a star off as I thought there could have been less sexual scenes (personal preference).
Jack and Claire have a good marriage with three daughters and then tragedy strikes their family. Jack takes a year off work to look after his comatose wife and daughters but then decides it is time to return to work. He meets a colleague and is taken aback when his feelings for her turn to love.
We follow Jack and his family and friends through this period with all the ups and downs and feelings of guilt that are associated with loving two women at once, one alive and vibrant and one in a comatose condition.
A great book.
