About the Author

James studied History at the University of Worcester and was awarded his PhD in 2004. During his time as a lecturer in Modern History, he delivered and published a number of papers examining the motivations and behaviours of Great War soldiers. James currently resides in the Highlands of Scotland where he is employed as a commercial copywriter.

Fantastic. The current TF ongoings have been consistently excellent and some of the most entertaining content I have seen come out of the franchise in years. It was great to see the two titles converge for this event and for the far-flung characters to meet up once again.

Needless to say it's got me hooked and I can't wait to collect the rest.

4.0 out of 5 stars the end of the Autobot-Decepticon war/rivalry as we know it 1 April 2016
By Frank L. Greenagel Jr. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Excellent 2nd half of the 2-part (12-issue) Dark Cybertron story.

Cybertron is ruled by Starscream and in complete disarray. Orion Pax (Optimus), Rodimus and others are trapped in the Dark Universe. Megatron is out of commission, the Deceptions are rudderless, and Bumblee and Prowl lead the now unpopular Autobots. Here come Ultra Magnus and the crew of the Lost Light to the rescue.

This is an excellent event book, tying together two Transformers books with 3-4 years of stories behind them. Well done, Mr. Roberts.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just like Dark Cyberton Vol 1 5 April 2016
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Just like Dark Cyberton Vol 1, it reads a little differently than either of the current Transformers serial comics (More Than Meets the Eye and Transformers-ongoing-previously-known-as-Robots-in-Disguise), but that's just because there were multiple authors writing it at once so the styles conflict a little. The art, while fantastic as always, also feels a little jarring because so many different artists contributed to each issue. Overall, it's still a fantastic comic and I definitely recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story with Classic Characters 9 Sept. 2014
By Matt Peppard - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is a great read for Diehards. It's a little complex to follow but it's great seeing all the classic characters. Megatron is awesome in this and that's why I liked it so much, since he's my favorite character by far. Optimus/Orion is also very stern and angry in this story, which helps to identify him as a leader.
4.0 out of 5 stars OK but not great 17 July 2016
By TCL - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
it was ok but i would like to see more decepticon involvement and and more fuller plot because there are a couple parts where you are like what the heck just happend to blah blah? so like i said not great but ok
