Go the distance with the MP300. Offering 15 hours of continuous music playback, even the slowest of marathon runners will finish long before the battery does. The integrated lithium polymer battery only requires a few hours to fully recharge giving you just enough time to get your breath back before the next event. And for complete peace of mind, the handy dual-color LED indicator will keep you informed of the battery status so you can stay active. There’s no better workout companion than the MP300.
En-lighten your life. Leave the bulky gadgets behind and experience music without the extra weight. At just 15g, the ultra-light and skip-free MP300 is ideal for wearing around the neck using the included lanyard when on the go.
It’s so small and compact that its presence would go unnoticed but for its stylish bubble pattern and, of course, quality sound. It fits neatly, looks great, and there’s no threat of dropping it. So lighten up, it’s just music.
Controls suited to you. Everyone will enjoy the intuitive design of the MP300. It feels so natural in your hand that it makes the perfect gift for all ages. Whether you’re on the treadmill or on the bus, you can instinctively navigate through songs and change volume level thanks to the easy-to-use control ring. And who needs a screen? There’s no need to painstakingly browse through folder after folder, hunting for a track to play, especially when you’re in full swing. After all, it’s your music – listen your way.
Getting into a routine? Mix it up, keep it interesting, and look forward to the surprise of your next song in shuffle mode. It’s like listening to your own personal radio station but without the commercials. Or, with the flick of a switch, you can progress nicely through your language learning CD’s and audio books in continuous playback mode. When you’re done for the day and need to rest, let your loyal partner sleep too by simply sliding the switch to the off position.
Share and share alike with the MP300. Its huge capacity doubles as a flash drive, so you can store your favorite tracks and countless files in one location. It really couldn’t be easier to transfer, share, and charge using the included high-speed USB cable. And with the myriad of USB devices using the same standard cable, there’s no need to buy expensive custom accessories to connect the player to a computer at work or a friend’s house.
Maybe you’re new to digital music players or maybe you’re worried about learning another new program. Either way, you just want an easy and quick way to transfer your playlist to the MP300. Simply decide what you want to listen to, select the music files on your computer and drop them into the MP300’s folder. No extra software, no extra hassle.

When you open the package the moulded plastic is attached to a pale blue box, on opening this you'll find the USB cable, (used for charging the player), a neck Lanyard, the instruction booklet, the warranty card, (as well as three other little booklets advertising other items that Transcend make).
Before you plug this in read your instructions first as it tells you about the light sequence when it's charging up, (you'll find the light in the bottom left hand corner), and the booklet will also tell you about the operation instructions.
Firstly when connected to my desktop computer which runs Windows 8.1 the player downloaded its files but when done Windows said it didn't recognise the devise, I just unplugged the player and then reconnected it to the computer and it was then recognised as MP300 Disk. Under that name you will see a little folder that says music, click onto that, (if it's not there click onto the MP300 Disk and the file will appear).
After that go to where you music is on your computer and just copy and paste into the music file or drag and drop, it's that simple.
On my player I have MP3 format, Wave Sound format and Windows Media Audio File format.
(Have also used the MP3 Player on my laptop as that uses Windows 7 and it's been fine with that operating system as well).
The ear phones are clearly marked for right and left and also each one has the name Transcend on. They are a very cheap pair which I expected as you are mainly paying for the MP3 player.Read more ›
Great MP3 player, nice sound.. Thanks a lot and I would for sure recommend
Two minor criticisms
- No built in USB plug - you have to use a cable. However, it does mean the unit is smaller than it would be otherwise.
- Why oh why oh why did they put those silly circles on the front? They should have had the courage to leave it blank! Black is beautiful!
