Goldfrapp are of the same creed as groups such as Lemon Jelly, Zero 7 and Portishead, offering up what is the arguably more intelligent side to modern dance music. New single 'Train' sees movement away from their earlier slightly more chilled-out, experimental works, while still remaining impressively innovative - dirty electronic bass lines drive the song forward while the relatively mellow, sensual vocals provide a good contrast. Very glam, very sexy, defiantly not your ordinary type of dance music, but defiantly the type that makes you want to move.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kinky From Cover To Video 15 Aug. 2003
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Bye bye "Soul Train"......Hello!! Alison's kink train...

Kink is back and is held by of the captins of contemprary music...What I offer here is a 3 min ride with a group of kinky professional performers..Alison Goldfapp.

Her voice has this power that can be used in seduction or in prayers...combined with spiritual instruments or funky electronic beats....It is verstile, which makes it one of the highly-recommended voices that should be listened by people who admire exploring new sides of electronica music.
This single is a must buy for people who crave to understand Alison Goldfrapp's pholosophy in music...

"Big Black cloud,Little White Lie" is just a superb reprise of the original "Tip Toe" track in the album.
The track is beautiful and suggested for people who liked her latest chilling tracks .. such as: (Hairy Trees),(Forever),(Deep Honey)AND (Crystaline Green)....

The cd is also enhanced with the single's uncut video ,which is really full of style.

This cd along with it's video is humerous...from cover to video....

A must buy for people who have interest in un-familiar styles.
