Product Description

Review

I discovered a very good guidebook about South Sudan. Trail guide to North and South Sudan http://www.thecitytrail.com It s the only one that has been published after the indipendence and has two separate parts one for the North Sudan and one for the South. --http://matadornetwork.com/trips/visiting-south-sudan-as-a-tourist/

Great book! I am really pleased with my purchase. It helped me a lot while I was in Sudan. Before going I had bought 2 guides to have more information but I have ended up using only this one because I found it more reliable and it was full of interesting and useful details that in the other (the Bradt one) were missing --http://reviews.waterstones.com/4921-en_gb/8875937/reviews.htm

It's awesome! Every time I want to know something about Sudan (legal requirements, places to go, a type of business I am looking for) I find it in there. It's helping me a lot during my stay in Khartoum.

I have just bought the new edition of the Trail guide to Nord & South Sudan and I must say that I am quite impressed with it. It is up-to-date with all the latest changes (the currency, the latest visa requirements etc). I am finding it incredibly useful to find my way around, discover things to do and get adjusted to the move to Sudan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent! Really useful and detailed! 16 Dec. 2012

I used during my year assignment. I was based in Khartoum but I travel to many destinations for work and tourism and I found this book essential to find decent places to stay and to eat (which outside the big cities it can be a challenge!).

The thing I liked the most is it has a big section on living and working in Sudan. So it isn't just like any other guidebook I have owned. It isn't just for tourism but also people like me that get posted there for a while.

In a country like Sudan those information are essential!
