About the Author

T.K. Leigh, otherwise known as Tracy Leigh Kellam, is a producer / attorney by trade. Originally from New England, she now resides in sunny Southern California with her husband, dog and three cats, all of which she has rescued (including the husband). She always had a knack for writing, but mostly in the legal field. It wasn’t until recently that she decided to try her hand at creative writing and is now addicted to creating different characters and new and unique story lines in the Contemporary Romantic Suspense genre. Her debut novel “A Beautiful Mess” has garnered relative praise, having been an Amazon Best Seller and an Amazon Top-Rated book. Recently, the book was named by The Guardian as a top reader-recommended self-published book of 2013 as well as a 2013 Reader’s Favorite in Publisher’s Weekly in addition to being named an Amazon Romance Editor's Fan Favorite for Top Debut Author and Best Page Turner. When she’s not planted in front of her computer, writing away, she can be found running and training for her next marathon (of which she has run over fifteen fulls and far too many halfs to recall). Unlike Olivia, the main character in her Beautiful Mess series, she has yet to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Ok, so I will start by saying that I loved a tragic wreck. I loved a beautiful mess also, and this follows on beautifully.

The 1st 53% of a tragic wreck literally ripped me apart!! Talk about an emotional roller coaster!! I could literally FEEL everything! The pain, the love, the hurt, the desperation, the hope, and the utter heartbreak from both Alex and Olivia. T.K has a way of forcing you to feel it all and it is amazing!!!

Ok so from 53% to around 70% it made me somewhat happy. I won't go into details for obvious reasons.....but I was able to settle in for a bit and just enjoy the ride.

Then 70% to the end, we are back on that emotional roller coaster we go!! Angst, drama, running, pasts crashing into present!! You name it, it's there!!

So the only reason it was 4.75 stars and not 5 is because I started to feel there was a little too much sex. I found myself skimming a little bit as it can get a bit repetitive. It doesn't take much away from the book, but just make it believable, in that how many men will go 4 times in the space of a few hours, and then wake up ready to go again??? This seems to happen a lot in these sort of books lately, it's just something I'm seeing more and more, and getting a bit bored of now.

The story in general however is FANTASTIC!! Loved every heart attack inducing second of it, and cannot wait untill May to find out where they will go from here!!

Hats of T.K.....you rocked it!! ❤️

This sequel was as good as the first book in the series, A Beautiful Mess and held my attention throughout. I do feel though, if I'm honest, that the author could have told the story in far less volumes. The story continues yet again and although the premise is good and interesting, with good characters, the story as a whole is dragged out mercilessly, leading me to think that the author needs the revenue from an additional book! ( Hence the missing star) Both books so far have been far too long with too much descriptive passages that repeat the information. A shame really as the author has a good concept of storyline and I'm loving the whole concept but the verbal diarrhea could be lessened considerably which would greatly improve the books and a reader's enjoyment.
Having said that however, I am eagerly awaiting the third book which I certainly hope will conclude the story!!

I really hate giving a bad review but God this book was so infuriating! Olivia spent 58% of the first half of this book winging, wallowing, feeling sorry for herself and generally being a pain in the proverbial! She moaned constantly about Alex yet she was the master of her own destiny. If that wasn't bad enuf when they eventually got back together Alex still hadn't told her about her past! What was the point? Olivia walked around oblivious to the danger of being followed, going down side streets and alleys to "try and loose him"! God how dumb can one woman be?! Any respect I had for her vanished and I half hoped she would be murdered so I could be put out of my misery!

How can book one be so good and then book two be so bad? I'm pretty disappointed! This story is going no where! There are pages of Olivia whining on about how hard it all is and how she cant cope! Pleease! You have 20 million in the bank and your not the only girl to loose her parents! Grow up! Then two pages of this Donovan bloke, mate, if she hasn't sent the cops calling for you after 20 years is she likely to now? And even if she did this guy has to be THE worst assassin EVER! So many missed opportunities!

Do me a favour and save your money! I cannot read another word of needy whiney Olivia!

I enjoyed A Tragic Wreck, I really did. I wanted to give it 5 stars because I did A Beautiful Mess but I'll be honest here. Olivia really started to annoy me, I was falling more in love with our gorgeous Alex Burnham but I was becoming increasingly frustrated with Olivia, so much so I wanted to dive into the book and say to Alex "have me instead!" I'm going to give credit to the author because her writing is so good that she evokes such feelings while you read this great book but there are only so many times a girl can self destruct. Every damn time she ran away from her feelings, I wanted to give Olivia a slap and a Valium! She's damaged goods with capitals D G!
I look forward to the third instalment and hope I don't need to do anymore virtual slapping to Olivia, as I don't think her cheeks will withstand the wrath of my palms! If she doesn't get her act together, I'm sure there are many women out there who would happily comfort the charmingly hot Mr Burnham....swooooooooon!

Wow what a book! I had to have the book removed from my hands to make sure I did the school run this morning. I loved the first book, when I finished I was horrified to read the taster chapter from A Tragic Wreck wondering where the story was going luckily I didn't have long to wait for the full book.

Alex and Olivia continue to hurt each other in this book at points I felt like I could happily have slapped some sense into the pair of them but to me the underlying story of the mystery surrounding Olivia's early life is fascinating. I need to know more, I want the loose ends tied up and I truly cannot wait for the next book.

Gripping just isn't a big enough word to describe this book. It will be on my re read list forever and frankly I am going to struggle getting through until May but a huge thank you to T K Leigh for not making us wait another year for the next one - I couldn't cope!
