Appearance: This TV looks very smart and fits the room nicely. It looks minimalistic but by no means cheap quality which is one of the reasons it caught my eye..
Display: The display itself is decent and I've no complaints at all. It's nice and bright, good quality etc and as someone who has never experienced 4K before it really is stunning!
Audio: This is where the TV lets itself down. As others pointed out in reviews, the audio is not the best, and is actually quite annoying at times. The quality isn't bad at all, but sometime louder noises/certain sounds will distort (best way I can describe it). Mostly this annoyance isn't constant, but during intense music of a film or TV episode for example it becomes quite noticeable and annoying to the point that I've toyed with the idea of getting it replaced or refunded under warranty but it seems by reading others' reviews that that's just the audio on this TV so replacing it wouldn't be likely to fix the issue. I'm probably going to continue using it until I've had enough and plug it into a sound system/speakers.
Smart functionality: So as for the smart aspects of the TV, it does the job. Not particularly fast but it does get there. It's a nice feature to have (and a major selling point for myself and many others) but sometimes when using the button on the remote to go to YouTube for example, it will actually just take you to the smart home screen instead unless its been on for a good minute first. It also is a little slow connecting to the internet which has left me trying to fix the internet when Netflix hasn't worked, only to find out that at its just doing things at its own pace. There is also no app available for amazon prime video so you can forget about using that unless you have a fire stick or connect up to your laptop or something. There is an internet section to allow you to browse but the browser will not allow for video playback so this isn't an alternative for prime video users or people looking to use streaming sites online.
I/O: as for ports, there's plenty of HDMI ports and two or three USB ports which is more than enough. There's also various other ports I've not used or even looked at if I'm honest.
Wireless Display: So one of the sources available is wireless display which in theory allows you to connect your PC/laptop/phone to the TV and wirelessly display content. Unfortunately despite checking for updates, trying with multiple devices and finding out more about miracast than I should ever need to, this feature seemed not to work at all and devices could not discover the TV as a wireless display. I didn't actually even know this was a feature so I don't feel deprived of this feature, but it's a nice concept that would have been nice to use.
TL;DR You get what you pay for. Good looks, good display, audio, non-working functionality and sometimes slow performance lets it down.
Picture: Great picture, I cannot fault it. It's not going to be as good as the money you would spend on a much higher spec TV but if you're complaining about something so trivial then spend the money on a higher spec TV. No pixelation, I get good colour contract and it is awesome for when you're judging people on Love Island (you heard it here first).
Sound: I have a sound system that I have plugged into the the tv however rarely use it for casual watching because the sound out of the tv is pretty damn good. I never really have to go above sound 20/100 and I don't get distortion. Although if i'm sat down watching a boss film nothing quite beats chucking it into the speakers and feeling the room vibrate.
Usability: Very easy to set up, the remote control is lovely to use. You can quickly switch between inputs and channels and access everything you want. FreeviewPlay and Netflix are on the remote and one click and you're into the app.
I honestly don't know what more you could want from a mid range TV that isn't stupidly expensive. It does the job more than adequately and is a great addition to the flat.
