The picture quality is good in standard mode for my requirements of TV & DVD use.
You can't expect the sound to be superior on a set this size. I found it quite adequate, although I turned the base boost off because it was causing the cabinet to buzz some times. If you want to annoy your neighbours connect it up to your Hi Fi.
Set up was easy, although I was initially mystified on how to access the analogue channels for my satellite RF2 input. The AV/DV button on the remote is non-functional, but analogue can be accessed on channels 900 up.
Overall I am very happy with this TV & think it is good value for the money.
Set up was very easy and only took 1 minute. As stated in the other reviews the picture/ colour was indeed superb, colours were really vibrant, black was very black and not grey. I hate to say it (mutters) better than my large Samsung at home :-(((. The sound is more than adequate for a telly of this size and I feel that some critisms from other reviews are not fully justified. Unless the viewer is slightly hard of hearing and is very long sighted. You simply would not switch it on so loud in a bedroom unless you are sitting far away with binoculars. If your Bedroom is indeed that large buy a bigger TV you can afford it lol. Basically we cannot expect the tv to function beyond its size.
The Tv does have some annoying traits, there's a slight delay when changing channels and the channel number is a huge big black square on the top righthand corner this also sticks around too long. This however can easily be gotten rid of by pressing the exit button.
But overall the positives more than outweigh the negative points, making this a very good little Television. Infact on the picture quality alone; If I ever want to buy a new TV in the future, I may consider a large Toshiba.
One thing that i must mention is that it only has one HDMI socket not 3 as stated in the description. I thought it sounded a bit generous. But one is more than adequate for a bedroom TV.
Preset colours at "cool" mode gives the best performance.
Sounds poorly, however getting better if "bass boost" set off and increase treble. No main switch on and off. However the switch on/off led when TV set is off, some times inexplicable appears green seems TV is on, but not picture appears in the screen or sound. Same problem I got with my other same model.
Not a chance fixed flat on the wall, as the main cord extended at horizontal direction facing on the wall.
Fair price and full recommended, compare with four different top brands at 19 inches I use.
P.S Amazon delivered it quickly and securely packed too.
