Surprisingly good

I read the first part of free telling of how the two unlikely couple meet and was intrigued it was more of an intro with a cliffhanger. free

Didn't think the rockstar, dark read and fighter thing would work all three together but it did.

Its a dark read due to Emily being taken as in the synopsis

Kidnapped.
Starved.
Beaten.
I was alone and fighting to survive.
When I heard Sculpt's voice, I thought he was there to save me.

I was wrong.

Sculpt was in a band and also fighting in the underground to pay for his band to go on tour that is until Emily was taken then she didn't see him for two years making this also a second chance romance.

Seriously there was so much going a couldn't not like it and the fact you are wondering what the heck is going to happen next

You also get glimpses of things going on with the other characters that also has you curious so Im going to have to follow these too.

Recommended read.

Very graphic and intense at start so if you are not used to dark romance books don't read

After being kidnapped Emily has now found herself in a basement and all she wants is Logan. But now things have taken a turn for the worse and now she is being sold but someone steps in and she knows that voice it's none other that Logan and he seems different. Being beaten for using his given name and drugged. Emily is lost and scared. But the fighter in her doesn't give up and she gives her captors a few hits and even tries to escape. Now she is in Mexico with a man named Raul running the show, with having to obey everything Logan tells her as she is now his slave and if she doesn't she will be trained and sold to someone else.
After 15 days of being Logan's slave and defying him Raul has now put it in place for another to train her but with the help of Logan she escapes.
Book skips ahead 2yrs and now Emily is running her horse farm but with no word of Logan, Emily is moving on with her life but then everything starts to unravel with someone showing up and bringing back all the memories of Mexico and feelings she has tried hard to move on from.
Will Emily ever trust Logan again? What happened to Raul and his men?

After reading the novella, I really couldn't wait to get started on this one, especially how the last ended.

This book carries on straight from With You, and is a very dark read that could cause some triggers for some, so be warned.

We are back with Logan and Emily and events unfold where both have to fight with everything that they have in order to achieve what makes them the happiest inn life and also what they love.

A story of how you can overcome the most horrific events, and come out the other end, stronger and living life to the full.

Some hot steamy scenes and events that go one way and then when you think you might know the outcome, you are completely thrown.

Nashoda has a way with words that she has you hooked from page one, I loved every minute of the book and I cannot wait to start the next in the series.

What an truly amazing book. Original gripping story, a real rollercoaster, it is sexy as hell, beautifully written and shocking with lots of twists. Logan is sex on a stick but is he what he seems? He is a little bit of all our fave bad boys but more real, written in a way that you believe he is out there, he has had a rough ride in life and signs of that show, very complexed but very swoon worthy. The love story of a Sexy rock star illegal fighter Sculpt and young sweet beautiful girl with baggage Emily. Eme is a fab and likeable character, even as a victim she kicked ass and you loved and respected her, she is a fighter. I read lots of books and this was a refreshing exciting gritty romance it had me sobbing, screaming, swooning and chucking my kindle at one point - it was intense. I can't say too much about the story as it would ruin the book but got completely lost in it, it felt like a movie and I could picture every character and their surroundings. Recommend, cannot wait for Decks story, the supporting characters were really interesting and left me excited for book 2. Ms Rose is definitely one to watch in 2014, really talented writer. READ TORN FROM YOU.

I am so glad that I ignored the bad reviews on this book and read it anyway. after reading 'without you' I fell madly in love with sculpt, I could not get enough of him. starting 'torn from you' absolutely gutted me , my heart was broken in two! I loved this man almost as much as Emily does and what he did ruined me (I cried real, ugly tears) my ONLY problem with this book was that Emily seemed to forgive him quicker than I could. yes she loved him, but after what happened to her, she should have been more scared of him than she seemed. This book sent my emotions all over the place and I would definitely recommend this book. Just be prepared for the heart-wrenching, gutting that this book will give you.
