HASH(0x8d975234) out of 5 stars Three audioplays including House of the Dead 22 May 2012
By Alicja Z. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This gets five stars just because of my love for the House of the Dead. All three plays included in the recording are awesome and include Jack Harkness, Ianto Jones, Gwen Cooper, and Rhys Williams solving Torchwood mysteries.

However, House of the Dead is the post-CoE (Children of Earth) play that lets Jack (and fans) say goodbye appropriatly with Ianto. We find out more about his past and the interactions between the two are amazing.

These audioplays do not include Toshiko Sato or Owen Harper but to anyone with a love for "classic Torchwood" with the alien of the hour structure will love these.

HASH(0x8da63dd4) out of 5 stars A nice collection of audio adventures. 6 May 2012

This is a collection of three full cast audio adventures involving the Torchwood crew, or at least those of the crew who survived the second TV season. The actors are great, and as engaging on audio as they are on the screen. The stories are compelling, and the production is top notch. With three adventures in the set, this is a good value. Great for listening in the car during a long trip.

Among the three stories, The "House of the Dead" was by far the most excellent. What it lacks in actions it makes up for in its surprise ending and ties in especially well with "The Children of the Earth" movie.

If you like Torchwood this was a fun way to go back. I like hearing the people from the cast read the different books. The BBC really knows how the do radio drama.
