Tony was born in Bermondsey, London in 1960, although he accepts this is may be of little interest to you. He has always dreamed of being a writer, but for years put this down to the cheese. He is the author of many academic papers and has written some of the most riveting articles on pain behind the kneecap you could ever wish to read. The Last Train Home is his first novel. It is a product of his desire to write a captivating seasonal mystery that is free from whimsy and cloying sentimentality, and is not afraid of a little dark to go with the light.
Tony lives just south of Chichester, UK, with his partner Lucy and 3 children, all of whom think he should get out more. He is busy writing a comic novel and a second Christmas book, The Feast of Stephen.
