I was hoping for a great ablum with many songs from the game and from Tony Hawks 1 and 2.But what do we get, about four songs from the game and music inspired from the Tony Hawks series.Major upset to all the fans.Good tracks are Pepper by Millencolin a great punk band who did No Cigar for Tony Hawks 2.Also the track from HomeTown Hero is great aswell. As for the other tracks are a waste of space.Pennywise sound to much like Offspring and the rap music is dreadful. Also I find that the soundtrack from TonyHawk's 3 is the weakest of the series.
Stay far away from this one and buy a proper ablum not just a hashed together quickly produced disc.

This album really started me off on this kind of music. There is not one song I dont like on the album. It got me hooked on music from Pennywise, NOFX, and Millencolin, and now I've got several of their albums.
If you want to discover what kind of music your really into, GET THIS ALBUM!

While I loved the game Tony Hawks' Pro Skater 3, I HATED the music, with the exception of three tracks - "The Ace of Spades" by Motorhead, "Fight Like a Brave" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and "If you must" by Del Tha Funky Homosapien.
All the other tracks were annoying punk songs which I couldn't stand, so I often played the game with the first KISS album playing on my CD Player and the music on the game turned off.
All three of the good tracks have been ommited from this album, meaning that, in my oppinion, it has no redeeming features whatsoever.
If you like Punk, this album may be for you. If, like me, you cannot STAND punk, avoid!

1.0 out of 5 stars WHERE IS CKY AND THE CHILI PEPPERS?!! 10 Jan. 2002
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Sorry, but this is supposed to be the game's SOUNDTRACK! Where are all the GOOD ACTUAL PUNK SONGS from the game? Where's CKY? Where's the red hot chili peppers? Save your money from this rip-off and get the CKY CD "Volume 1" which actually has the best song from the video game on it.

2.0 out of 5 stars not that great 14 Nov. 2001
By Nick Flory - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
i only recomend this for some bubblegummer who wants to ruin rock and punk at the same time. i mean you got your deftones and you got your nofx and pennywise good bands from the rock scene but then you get your paparoach and sum41? both bands that are turning metal and punk into a pop sensation. i think this cd draws kids in with its relation to the video game and mainstream bands only to get them familiar with other bands that are good that kids are gonna make popular intill the band sells-out. AND THE CD DOESNT HAVE THE DEAD KENNEDYS FROM THE FIRST GAME! if you like sum41 and all those mtv bands buy this but if you like good bands like nofx and pennywise just download the few good songs that are on here from a warez site or buy the cds of the band.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Bad Soundtrack 28 May 2005
By heidilynn87 - Published on Amazon.com

If you are a fan of Tony Hawk games you know that they have great soundtracks. This one, screwed up. There are some unknown songs on there and the CD is missing the games best songs. Advice? If you love Tony Hawk, listen to the game itself. Not the Cd. Personaly, I think it is OK. Its just the fact that I wanted a soundtrack of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3.

3.0 out of 5 stars A warning to parents, and a review for people wanting punk 11 Dec. 2001
By Jeff Johnson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I bought this CD immediately for my little brother who is ten years old and loves Tony Hawk and skateboarding to no end, because I thought this was a soundtrack from the game Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. Instead only two songs were from the actual video game. Wish by Alien Ant Farm and Cut Chemist Suite by Ozomathi, which is a long funky groove, which gets very repetitive by the end. As for the other songs on the album, somehow the usual punk music and funky grooves of the Tony Hawk games turned into screaming metal with songs from Papa Roach, Drowning Pool and the Deftones so it was disappointing in that fact. Also their choice of songs could have been more appropriate for the target audience of the GAMES, such as the opening track What's The Matter With Kids Today, I bought this CD for a 10 year old who now knows what smoking illegal substances is from this song. The song was just plain lude so I am sure parents will appreciate the warning. As well as the track Bombs Over Baghdad was a little insensitive being that the CD came out after September. With all of that being said, it is still a fair CD less than 30 minutes long though. Another good soundtrack to skateboard to if you are a teen, is the WWF Tough Enough Soundtrack.

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD rocks 20 Jan. 2002
By Robert Krug - Published on Amazon.com

Most of the songs are not in the game but I can just listen to it while I'm playing. You get the Deftones, Papa Roach, Millencolin, Pennywise and the new band Hometown hero. Plus, on the CD-ROM that you can run on your computer you can see Tony Hawk pull of his signature move The 900, see his house, get a panorama of the skatepark he practices in and much more. Plus on the CD-ROM you can get extra tracks from the bands Unloco, Mest and Soul Hooligan. Get this CD.
