The Explora Weaning Kit (designed for boys from 4 months onwards) contains all the equipment you need to start the transition from a milk-only diet to solid foods. The First Sips Cup has been designed for easy use for children, with a soft spout which is kind to gums, an easy-to-open valve, and small handles for babies. The cup is also non-spill, so that when dropped on the floor there is no mess to clean up. The First Weaning Spoons have been designed to help your baby learn to feed with a spoon. They are ideal for first feeds such as baby rice and purees, and their soft collapsible silicone base means that your baby will get a fuller feed whist learning to take food from a spoon. The Cool and Mash Bowl has a unique lip, where you can rest food until it cools down or mash food to make it a finer texture. It also comes with a leak-proof lid and spoon for travel, and has an easy scoop triangular base to make feeding easy. The Pop-Up Weaning Pots are great to store or freeze larger portions of food. They come with an easy push-up base and leak-proof lids, and can be stacked so they save space. All items are steriliser, microwave, and dishwasher safe, and as with the whole Explora range are BPA-free.

The training sippy cup was perfect for my baby as the free flowing one overwhelmed him initially. Later on he also liked chewing on its rubbery tip.
The soft tip spoons are ideal for first purees because everything is soft and I found it made an easier transition from exclusively breast feeding to spoon feeding. My son also liked playing with these spoons and even biting the soft tip (with no danger to his gums and later emerging teeth).
The bigger pot is ideal for travel as the spoon fits securely in the lid compartment so there's no need for plastic bags to protect the spoon etc. It is also big enough to keep 2 portions (at least until baby is about 7-8months).
The two storage pots are the best I've bought as they have a non-slip base! I now use them when I'm feeding my son and should I forget one of them on his tray they are not flying off so easily.
Overall, this has been one of my best baby purchases so I'd definitely recommend it!
The bit I most wanted, and unfortunately the bit I was least impressed with, was the beaker. It is a handy little size and has a nice soft spout but I find it takes me several goes to get the lid on so the spout ends up in the middle and not over a handle. The worst bit is the valve. When you come to clean the beaker, you need to disassemble the valve system. There is a plastic tab to pull on to remove the valve, then you need to pull out the flexible bit inside and wash all the bits separately. I can see why - they would just trap stale drink and become a breeding ground for all sorts if you didn't separate and wash them thoroughly. This sounds fine in theory, but just try pulling out the smooth plastic tab when it's covered in milk, it's really not easy to do. If you had long fingernails or mobility problems in your fingers or hands it would be almost impossible.
The set seems very expensive to me too, but as far as I can see it is cheaper than buying the individual pieces.
The spoons are super soft, helping with the feed and making sure you put everything inside their mouth without hurting.
The pots can be put on the freezer, very easy to pop the food out... and I mean... really easy!
The sip cup... I can't comment very much since my son only plays with it, he doesn't seem to have interest on start drinking.
The cool and mash bowl is awesome. Easy to pick, easy to carry, the spoon can be put over the lid in case you need both hands while feeding.
I would buy it again if needed.

Not happy with the sippy cup or the spoons.the hole of the spout of the cup too big for babies....the finish of the spoons eating end looks old and not very cleanPublished 29 days ago by Amazon Customer
The cup in this set is awful. Better to go for the cheaper variety with the flip mouth spout. The spoons discoloured easily. Would not recommend.Published 1 month ago by Gg123
