I ordered these for my 3 to 5 year olds ( I am a childminder), the quality of these cards is excellent, they are very sturdy. The size is lovely, bigger than I expected and the colours are vibrant. All in all my kids love them.

These have been invaluable for me. I bought them on a whim thinking that they may come in useful with children on the autistic spectrum. Thankfully, they became a very useful communication tool with a particularly reluctant teenage learner, who had become a selective mute.

These cards are fairly large, and made of very sturdy board (like the pages of a board book for babies). Brightly coloured and very eye-catching. I'd say that the price tag is worth it. However if I have to point out minor flaws, it would be that the card illustrations for the emotions "ashamed" and "bored" don't seem to portray the emotions very well. There are 40 feelings portrayed in total, on 20 cards. 2 feelings on each card. Overall I think they're good for the purpose they were purchased for, which was to improve my children's emotional literacy, as often I find their range of words to describe how they're feeling are quite limited. I would also use this for an adult who may benefit from this, but feel this would be more suited for children.

These are lovely cards in classic Todd style - they have helped used words we wouldn't usually use to discuss emotions/feelings - my children are only 2 and 4 years old and both have enjoyed guessing the opposite feelings to the one we show.

Attractive and appealing to children, although some of the emotions are a bit difficullt for children to guess. This isn't a problem as practitioners can use them in various ways.

I've been using these cards for kids' yoga classes and they have been ideal. The pictures are very expressive so they are suitable for children who can't read the words yet, and it works well having opposite feelings on each side of the cards (e.g. happy on one side, sad on the other). Nice variety of feelings and emotions included, really colourful and engaging.

My 3 year old son likes these a lot. They are however bigger than I realised and also it would be great if they came with a stand so he could display which emotion he's feeling that day or moment in time. He's only using a few of the cards at the moment but in time I'm sure he'll end up using far more.

A great set of brightly coloured flash cards featuring different emotions. I bought these as a tool to introduce my 2yr old to emotions and feelings. Currently there are probably 4 - 6 that apply directly and that I can use immediately, as some of the concepts are quite advanced and in some instances a bit obscure. Having said that, I am very pleased with them and they provide a great talking point for introducing feelings to a youngster and providing scope for continued use over the years to come. Some of the pictures do look a little unusual, but they have certainly gotten my toddlers attention and interest. Pleased overall.
