Mendelson is definitely the number one bridge author around right now. This was his second book - printed in two colours and full of the best tips on the game in every area. The real beauty of it, though, is that mendelson is as witty a writer as he is a speaker and his words boom out of the page with great style and humour. All this makes it easier to remember the key rules. My only gripe would be that the quizzes at the bottom of many of the pages are printed with the cards shown very small. For some short-sighted readers, they might be a strain. Otherwise - a fantastic bridge book on every level.
