The Tippitoes Mini Bath is a fantastic solution for bathing the very young and has quickly become a firm favourite with parents.
It is superbly easy to handle with a great shape that allows baby to sit comfortably and supported in the bath whilst anti-slip pads and arm rests work to reduce slippage further. There is a foam headrest that works to protect the back of baby's head as they lie back to be bathed and an easy drain plug.

I can easily lift it when full on my own, it's easy to fill and empty.
I can bathe baby on my own from start to finish. I started using this bath around 3/4 weeks old and by week 5/6 she could sit in the bath without me needing to keep a hand on her. (Obviously you still need to stay right there and be careful though!)
Now at 9 weeks she absolutely loves bath time and loves having a splash in her bath. It's so good to have both hands free to wash her.
I will get far more use out of this baby bath than any others I've used before as I love this one so much I will continue to use it until she is big enough to sit up in the big bath.
Highly recommend! Makes bath time so much easier!
Really pleased with the price too.
I recommend putting support sponge in the bath when they are really little, like this one: First Steps Baby Bath Support Sponge in Teddy Bear Shape (Pink/Blue), to help to support their backs.
Their is a little protrusion in the bath for the baby to sit on and the is plenty of room for the water, whilst not feeling that they could easily slip under under the water. There is a drainage hole underneath, but we just pour the water into the sink. I think the drainage hole can be fitted with a hose if you wanted to drain the water whilst still on a stand. We just put the bath onto a changing table with the changing mat removed.
All in all, we are very happy with the bath and would recommend.
We have used this bathtub for months and our baby has enjoyed regular bath time without complaint. The tub has endured a good amount of chucking into the adult tub when done and hasn't dented or anything so far. The plug has not leaked at all so no accidents involving any water gushing out.
The foam padding is really handy and one of the best features for protecting our baby's head and the design keeps him nicely positioned (reclined enough so his entire body doesn't get too cold out of the water but not so reclined that I'm worried he'll drown or choke by splashing water into his mouth if he moves to the side or sits up/down).
I would highly recommend this for newborns as well as older babies. My wife has used this confidently and constantly by herself since the baby was born so two people aren't needed at all when washing baby.
In terms of size, our baby is quite long and his legs reach the end - he quite enjoys pushing against it and kicking the end so I don't think it's really a problem. I imagine it will last him for a couple more months when he's sitting upright for long periods of time before he really outgrows it.
