This book is full of useful information but you have to tolerate some awful grammar, poor English and heaps of repetition throughout. It is clear this book has not seen an Editor's desk before it was uploaded.

But do not be put off. If you have a serious Tinnitus problem then you may find it very useful. I would suggest keeping a pen and pencil handy to write down the key points as you read it, because the text contains no summary of these "21 outrageous tinnitus treatment and remedy tips" mentioned on the cover. You will have to extract those tips yourself by reading cover to cover.

What this book makes very clear though is the fact tinnitus is a side effect of other health problems, rather than a problem in itself. Coleman makes clear that diet and lifestyle are direct affectors of the condition and very bluntly states that certain foods make tinnitus worse. Whether you chose to believe it is another matter, but one must give credit for such simple and clear statements in a book like this.

Myself I suffer very mild and infrequent subjective tinnitus and I bought this book to help me, and it has actually been more helpful than another 'professional' book on the subject.

My advice would be, give it a read, forgive the terrible writing style, and don't judge it until you have actually tried the things the book suggests. You might end up thanking the author in spite of the book's shortcomings. Or you might not.... But try it if you are desperate.... There is nothing to lose.

I have recently developed tinnitus. I believe it has arisen as a result of medication I take for high blood pressure, coupled with an unhealthy life style. This book is full of very interesting and useful ideas on how the reader might tackle this unpleasant condition. It`s a short book, and quite repetitive but I found it a useful read which has inspired me to take a drastic look at adopting a much better lifestyle. It is full of typo`s and grammatical errors, I`m left with the impression that English may not be the author`s first language, however, place that aside - it`s a good read.

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid this book 24 Nov. 2012
By Wendy B. Hanawalt - Published on Amazon.com

This book was a major disappointment. First of all, the writing is just awful. It's almost unreadable. The author should really consider hiring someone to rewrite it for him. Secondly, the information is repetitive and not very informative. I didn't find anything that was useful in this book, and reading it was painful. A total waste of time and money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Repetitive, disorganized and unenlightening 3 Mar. 2012
By Amazon Cust - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This is a relatively short ebook with 813 locations in Kindle for PC. If one were to remove the repeated causes, symptoms, therapies and preventative actions, the book would lose at least half it's length. Tinnitus' definition/symptoms are repeated seventeen times (ringing, hissing and buzzing in the same sentence). The first three or four paragraphs of each of the 22 sections seem to conform to an outline, and then entropy hits.

WebMD, Mayo Clinic, NIH or ATA.ORG, any one of them, it's not necessary to read all four, have more comprehensive and better organized information about this condition.
4.0 out of 5 stars covers all the bases 14 Mar. 2014

Excellent info that gives us a map for healing.IMHO the first step must be a session with a Osteopath or Chiropractor. Get the spine aligned & then Mr. Coleman's Rx will fall into place...the only jarring note is the Author's plug for toxic xanax...Bach Rescue Remedy would be more in keeping with the benign tone of this tiny but mighty book.

This is one of the most useless books I have ever seen. I got the book free and I still feel like the time that was wasted reading it makes it an overall loss.
