I wouldn't buy this again, 'expedition' watch and the bezels are on full show, I've snapped one off with 6months of owning it and the compass continuously fails on me- i gave up using it.
I send it back many times to Timex who never quite fixed the job. Time to send it off again!
My 2pence- save up more and don't bother with a gimmicky compass. I've now gone to Luminox.
Survived mountain bikes, swimming in the seas, crashing, jumping and so on.. Compass is almost accurate.
I give 4 starts because i have some small scratches on the glass, but otherwise this is the perfect watch for every adventurer.
I have knocked of one star because Timex seem able only to provide instructions in a huge folding sheet that can never be refolded properly.
The compass calibration is (as stated in another review) fiddly and takes time and a lot of reading. Once done however it is simple to use.
Another good Timex, well worth the money.
