These stories are the early works of Terry Pratchett and dedicated to Terry aged seventeen.
This is a beautifully produced book with a vibrant and well-designed dust jacket and cover with no expense spared.
The illustrations are fabulous and are throughout the book in black and white. Of course, I am an adult reading a book which is probably more suited to children who will find the stories funny, probably more a boys market but of course I could be completely wrong.
I did enjoy the stories, and I do think it would be a super Christmas gift for any child or child at heart. It is a bit pricy but in saying that, it's a beautiful copy of Terry Pratchett's early work.
They are all "one mad idea" stories with no follow on but perfect as they are.
While there are no Discworld stories the notes after each story show the later connections with these stories
