Tim LeBon was born in 1961 in Rochford, United Kingdon. He studied P.P.E at Oxford, gaining a first class degree, and then took an M.Phil at London University in Philosophy Ethics and Ancient Philosophy. He spent some time in the software industry, first working for Logica, before training in counselling and psychotherapy. Tim became one of the pioneers of the philosophical counselling movement in the UK and wrote his first book, Wise Therapy (Continuum) in 2001. He now has a private therapy, counselling and life coaching practice in Chancery Lane, London and also works part-time in the NHS as an IAPT High Intensity CBT Therapy, as well as lecturing at City University and the City Lit, London, in their adult education programmes. His second book, Achieve Your Potential with Positive Psychology, was published in June 2014 by Hodder.
