There seems an awful amount of information in this book. Almost so much that I'm sure you would get something more out of it each time you read it. It's written in the first person and starts off with an intro to himself and the game, putting, short game, goes on to full swing, driving, mental side and diet and fitness. I was worried that this book would be dated, having been published in 2001 but the only thing that seems slightly out of place is the fashion in a few photos! I'm not sure but there might also be a few differences in club choice and design since then (my instructor recommends carrying hybrids instead of long irons or fairway woods, for example).
All in all, a great looking book that is too pretty to be kept on the bookshelf. Even if you're not a fan of Tiger, like me, you can't really pass on the opportunity to learn from a champion. I'd say it may be a bit technical in places for a brand new beginner, but get it anyway because that way you can grow into it. I liked Gary McCords Golf for Dummies DVD when I was first learning.
