PRAISE FOR THE TIBETAN ART OF LIVING:

As life becomes more hectic, it's important to stop and think about the way we are living. Christopher's book is the best possible starting point. (Kathy Phillips, Vogue)

Christopher Hansard has written an eloquent yet practical guide to a soulful integration of all aspects of our lives. He contributes a wise and powerful voice to contemporary spiritual thought. (Marianne Williamson)

There is a magnificent book that everyone should have by their bedside. It is called THE TIBETAN ART OF LIVING by Christopher Hansard. In my opinion, Christopher is a true genius who can lead us to a new enlightenment as well as a state of vibrant health. (Normandie Keith, You Magazine)

The Tibetan Art of Living is an exceptional and essential book for everyone's library. It's absolutely brilliant. (Carolyn Myss, author of Anatomy of Spirit)

I`ve not read Christopher`s first book but I think I will after buying T.T.A.P.T. I have only just started it but alresdy I have changed my outlook on life after reading the 1st chapter(The Power Of Thought). Most books in this field I have found are not the easiest to understand but Christophers explanations and examples make this book extremely readable for anyone infact I have recomended this book to several people already. Its the sort of book that if in 2years down the line your feeling a bit under the weather you could always go back to it and remind yourself what lifes all about and pick yourself up again.
If your a bit bewildered with life buy this and start a new one.
This is my new Bible for life ever after.

Christopher Hansard's second book is even better than his first book The Tibetan Art of Living. In this new book he offers practical solutions to the issues we all face in the world today. Whilst Bon Medicine is probably the oldest medical practice still in existence it is quite remarkable how relevant it is to us today. If you are really looking for the answers go no further you will find them in this book. A book cannot normally take the place of a face to face meeting with a healer of the calibre of Christopher Hansard, but he has put so many useful examples of his work with other patients in to his writings that it is hard not to find a situation that he covers that is not relevant to yourself.
The book is divided into 10 sections, each covering an aspect of life from the Power of Thought through Relationships and Love to Helping others and the World in a Single Thought. Each section offers advice & practical exercises to deal with every aspect in your life. So if you are unable to consult directly with the leading practioner of BonMedicine in the western world, and his public seminars are rare in North America, then buy the book. I have and it continues to change my life every day.
For the cynical amongst you, I do not normally make recomendations of this sort, but for this book it was not difficult.

So far I have only read the part about love, marriage and relationships cause I just borrowed the book from my friend for a couple of hours.I couldn't put it down until I finished the chapter. It was really overwhelming and I learned a lot.I think everybody should read it cause it's very insightful and useful for improving our lives, becoming a better person and of course evolving spiritually.I've already ordered the book and i'm looking forward to reading it all.it's a book you pick up whenever you encounter difficulties in your life and it will heat up your soul.

This is an excellent book for anyone wondering what life is about, has a crisis in their life or just wants to grow in one way or another. I actually read this book several years ago, but was recommended to it by a friend when I was trying to cope with a very hurtful rejection. Have to say it not only helped me over that hump but has put me back on track with my life in general.

If it was in my power I would include this book and Tibetan Art of Living as a subject in school educational program. If I only had this knowledge 30 years ago I could avoid so many mistakes in my live.

I saw a review of this book in a health magazine, while in hospital. As soon as I got home I bought it on impulse and read it straight away. It turned out to be one of the best purchases of my life. Each time I find myself overwhelmed by things I re-read the relevant section of the book; every single time something happens - probably inside me - that makes things turn better.

It is strange and fascinating.

I would recommend this book to everyone and have lent it to my friends. It changed my life, it may change yours...!

I must say that I was not greatly impressed by this book. Mr Hansard clearly knows all about the Tibetan Bon tradition, but I found his style of writing cluttered and overblown - it took me several days to plough through it all. When I had finished I felt that he could have said as much in half the space. Some of his ideas are basically common sense dressed up in frankly pretentious language and with a complete absence of humour. These same ideas could be readily obtained, in a far more simple way, from many self help books obtainable in an average sized bookshop. What I found useful were some of the visualing techniques and this may appeal to some people, but again visualising effectively is not a skill that everyone can manage. From my experience working with people who suffer from deep seated trauma and stress issues, visualising can achieve very little. I would say that the most likely people who will benefit from this book are those who are fairly well grounded and balanced but are going through a temporarily difficult period. For such people buried away there are some useful ideas that could help in getting them back onto an even keel. I have my doubts however that this book will provide a blueprint for life or offer some kind of deep life changing insight for more than a minority of its readers.
