TBH, I'd not have considered Sean O'Casey if our book group hadn't decided on these plays.

Political, good characterization & pertinent in the way that relationships always seem to be. Definitely better (to my ear anyway) if read with an Irish lilt & not without a good smattering of dialect (as another reviewer commented).

If you like theatre (& more specifically, the actual reading of a play), then I'd recommend these.

I bought the book for my sons course at college. It was in good condition and very reasonably priced. The postage was reasonable. The book itself was exactly what we were looking for.

Only read Juno so far, very funny, love the dialect. I'm from Dublin so it's easy for me, not sure if a 'foreigner' would get it.
