No one can make her feel something that doesn't exist. Until Dominic walks into the club and into Payton's room and her life.
From the first touch, she knows something is different about this man. His touch sets her alight. She...feels. And he doesn't want to get down and dirty the minute he agrees to hand over $30,000 for one night with her. No, he wants to talk. To hold hands. To kiss. All the stuff Payton doesn't do. Especially kissing.
The blindfold comes off and Dominic does all those things. He makes her want...more. And when they are done, in the club? Payton is done! With the club, her job... everything, because she wants more with this guy and she doesn't want him to pay for it.
Dominic gets evicted forcibly from the club, Payton gets fired and it seems that's the end of it all. She goes to her friend Evie for help and discovers that the guy who owns the apartment Evie and Logan live in his none other than Dominic.
When he arrives a short time later, they get a chance to talk. Dominic tells her he wants more time. He wants he to come with him. To Japan, where he has to work for the next year. With nothing keeping her in town and a desire to stay close, she agrees. hell, it's a holiday of a lifetime with the hottest guys she's ever been with.
One week becomes two. Then a month, until she never wants to leave. Then she finds a letter and her beliefs are shattered and she runs.
Will Dominic convince her to give him another shot?
This book was even hotter and steamier and full of more kink than Three Simple Rules.
I have no issue what so ever about the books as they are a brilliant read, however the same can't be said for the delivery.....
They had put 3 books inside one tiny box which looked like they had to squeeze them in. When I took them out the box they were bent and the front cover had been torn a little. After what I paid I was annoyed.

This time around we get the story of Payton, Evie's best friend from Three Simple Rules and Dominic, the best friend of Logan. Working in the club that she introduced Evie to in 'Rules', Payton is the star attraction of the business and until recently really quite happy with her lifestyle choices. But what happens when the feeling of discontent takes root inside of her and she wants a piece of the happiness that she's witnessing everyone else around her finding for themselves?
Payton is one tough cookie. She's independent, funny, fierce and takes no prisoners with no exceptions. But she's also incredibly human. Shaped by such a monumentally crushing moment in her younger years she spends her life with such a headstrong feeling of never needing another person to make her life feel complete. Payton tries her best to get over it but some kinds of hurt and betrayal aren't so simple to move on from. That is until the irresistible Dom crosses her path in a mix up one evening and she gets a chance to see that not everyone is out to use her purely for their own gain. From her emotions to reactions to her sex appeal this is one flawless character. I identified with Payton in ways that almost crushed me but the way Nikki Sloane has written her journey has given me hope that there is such a thing as happily ever afters after all.Read more ›

Whilst the first book moved quickly but had plot this one just dragged on... Could easily have ended their story 5 chapters earlier even the steamy scenes got boring.Published 14 months ago by SLM
