She moves and hopes that she will not be dragged into that life again, but fate has a different idea, and she finds herself having a meeting with the local 'Prime' and being involved more than she wanted to.
Already full of interesting characters and situations, this first book ends on a cliffhanger and will leave you wanting more. It is well-written and moves along at a quick pace, but with enough information that you will not feel like you've missed out on something. There were also no editing or grammatical errors that I found.
For those who want a paranormal romance, different from the norm, then I can definitely recommend this.

Threads of Destiny is about a new breed of paranormal creatures as we follow Eva on her journey in Westport to figure out what she needs to do there. We also learn a little bit about the Morai which is basically a person that leads a person to their destiny or twists it to go another way that isn’t supposed to happen. I would have, personally, loved to see more information about the Morai and their community as we just get that in a little bit of information that get shown here and there throughout the book.
We also see Eva change throughout the book when she first gets to Westport and I am guessing that each of these chapters were based on that. The first one shows her reclusive and following by the rules she was raised up in for a Morai while the second one shows her opening up but not all the way and then the last one she has fully opened up while still sort of following the rules that her mom has drilled into her from the time she was four to until she left when she was twenty-four.
I am giving this book a three butterfly rating because I can see there is room for improvement in it. If I left the book for a while I had to go back and reread what I already read just to make sure that I remember what I read. It was a little confusing.
Anyways until next time enjoy this book review brought to you by

Have you ever stopped and wondered what your Destiny in life is? Or who controls it? Do you control what you do, where you go, who you meet? Or is someone plucking strings, making you move as if you are a marionette and they are the puppeteer?
Meet Eva. She is a Morai. A watcher of men's fates. She sees the fate threads of every man, woman and child. She can also se the threads of other Morai.
Eva has left home and headed West to find a new fate for herself. Leaving the past behind her, she hopes to start over. When she comes upon another Morai behaving "badly", she is shocked and upset. Along with seeing the thread of this person, she see a beautiful bronze and golden thread-one she wants to touch and read. Instead, she decides to follow it. See where it leads her. After all, this could be fate she came west to follow.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and plan on reading the entire series. I'm anxious to see how Eva makes out in the new town she has moved to. Does she become friends with the local Morai? And what about the bronze and gold thread? Where will that lead her?
Lea Roche has written a suspenseful first book in the Threads of Destiny series. I enjoy paranormal romance and think this series will be an excellent read. Here is the link to Lea's website where (at the time of posting this review) you can download this book for free. I highly recommend it.
This book is the first in a series of five in this paranormal romance. The author gives the reader a different outlook on romance and the relationships of. The book is a short story that is interesting and different. The book needs a little editing but looking past that, the author wrote an different look on a paranormal romance. I look forward to Book Two.
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author, Lea Roches for my unbiased view. No other compensation took place.
