In summary - speakers are faulty and customer service have no replied in well over a month.
On first glance, these seem to be good quality speakers, but there is a really annoying issue with the Bluetooth connection - whilst the speakers are searching for a connection (and there seems ot be no way to stop this), a light flashes on one of the speakers - and at the same time, in time with the flashing, the speakers emit a clicking noise. It's audible over whatever music is playing and there seems to be no way to stop it.
Whilst that in itself is a problem, Thonet & Vander's customer service is atrocious. I messaged them through their online portal on May 30, and again on June 22 and have chased 8 times since then - to date I have only received automated replies and no response to the actual issue. I know that things are difficult right now, but to have had no response in well over a month is just not on.
My advice - buy something else, from someone else.
