Cantatas for Trinity Season, features two of Bach's early Leipzig cantatas. Bach composed Die Elenden sollen essen (BWV 75) for the First Sunday after Trinity of 1723: it is his first cantata in his new post as cantor at Leipzig. One year later, Bach concluded his first full year at Leipzig with the cantata Höchsterwünschtes Freudenfest (BWV 194).
